Since 1966, Bonnie’s Restaurant has been the heart and soul of Aspen Mountain. People come for the cozy, family-run atmosphere where everyone from long time locals to A-list celebrities have stopped in to enjoy its homemade, mountain-style goodness.

In 1998, Bonnie passed the torch to Aspen native Brigitte Birrfelder, who grew up at the Sundeck on Aspen Mountain where her dad Peter ran things for 27 years. Brigitte introduced breakfast to Bonnie’s menu, serving the famous pancakes, bacon,
